Additional context: A lot of folks are clueless about all the dogwhistles this admin is sending to white nationalists. Earlier this month it was reported that the DOJ was literally sending white nationalist literature to staffers. Then there were the allusions to the nazi 14 words in a Homeland memo. To speak nothing of the policy priorities that seek to bring these shitty ideas to life.

Leaked Discord chats have shown that there is a strategic nazi effort underway to infiltrate the GOP and government/military. White supremacy is already the norm but these dudes want it writ large on some Germany-in-1941 type shit. Couple this with the rise of white nationalist terrorism and I'd say we have a huge fucking problem on our hands that precious few are talking about seriously. Get familiar and get your antennas up BGOL. There's a good deal of nazi-splaining online where folks pretend these ideas "aren't so bad" inspite of very recent historical reality. It's even seeped onto this forum.

Another big part of it is that in our very superficial public discourse all a person has to say is "I'm the least racist person around!" and it all but eliminates the decades of actions and words that prove this to be nonsense in Trump's case. I doubt he's a true believer, David Duke type (since all he really believes in is his own aggrandizement) but he's def racist af and white nationalist true believers have latched onto his admin and weaponized it... Bannon and Miller at the highest levels and I'd imagine hundreds throughout the rest of the administration.
