I mean, covert my dvd +/-r to avi??

I need something quicker than dvdfab and less complicated than this other software I have. I think Hiest may have gave me the other one, the name [of the software] slips me.

If you can rip it, it can convert it. Some files I have to play with more than others, but overall it is a pretty robust program. The only thing for is that I don't do too much conversion of big video files, initially I was just downloading google videos and making audio files, then I started using it for flash video.

I'd say play with, it's free...
