Driver Runs Red Light

There's a shorter clip of this that's been posted but it ends before you see the truck resting on the car like that.:smh:

That's a rule of thumb here in MKE between the reckless drivers and when the snows begin. You gotta hesitate to see whose gonna blow through an intersection or slide through on black ice or snowpack.

Agreed. Our winters aren't too bad here on the westcoast, but those brief storms definitely show who should be on the roads, and who shouldn't. All types of hazardous stuff going on. Always gets me too when people drive without a care in the world as if conditions are fine. You have to modify your speed accordingly & use brakes sparingly.

I was taking a route home one Saturday morning a year or two back in winter. Plenty of fresh snow so you really couldn't make out the lines / lanes. The stretch of highway I was approaching is 50km (residential area first). It then becomes 60 ... and later on 80 - 90km. People routinely go 100 - 120 on there. There are speed traps here and there so I keep it just above 90. Have seen plenty of people ticketed year round. Crappy weather? Definitely slower. Hell ... as I was in the 60 zone people were already doing 100+ in the dark ... on a corner ... downhill. What the fuck? Fresh snow. Braking. I let them get well ahead ... took my time ... and got home safely.

Don't even get me started when the roads are icy and people follow closely. Leaving little to no room for error. Something happens to you - they are slamming into you.
