Im listening to Shit Premo produced and cant stop thinking about how amazing his shit would sound IF it was mixed and mastered by Dr. Dre. Im quite sure that shit would cost a grip all by itself! I think the cost would be only worth it to those who enjoy music in a way the average listener is oblivious too.
Everything would be 1000 x's crisper, sharper, and more precise. Not saying Premo's shit is sloppy in any way whatsoever! Ijs....... there is a very noticeable difference between the shit Dre produces and what everybody else does.

Hmmm Primo & Eddie Sancho were the quintessential sound of NYC hip hop. It was raw and full of blemishes which gave it that authentic street sound.

"Looks like it just came outta the basement..."

Dre's sound was much bigger and cleaner for mass production, but idk how great that would've sufficed for that street vibe.

I think they were both unique in their own rights.

QTip's work is also crazy - some how his production /mix is able to have low end that's both crisp and warm

I was really debating putting him on the list..... I know I probably should have. He has a really unique sound which stands out.
