one reason while i'll never buy a new car.

it would make more sense if you said USED car, which is closer to its obsolescence.

An argument for planned obsolescene is that it is cheaper to produce so more ppl can afford it. If a car were indestructible, no one would be able to afford it. a weak argument but it still has some clout

i have a 90 4runner i use as my work horse( beach, fishing, hunting ie things that involve being dirty) the tran is the only major thing i've changed. it got screwed cause someone went the cheap route on the pan gasket. it has 240k+ miles on it and still runs good. i've only changed minor things that break do to heat. i got it for 900. if i find another one like it in good shape i'm gonna buy it.

Thanks! GREAT INFORMATIVE VIDEO!

This came right after I went to have my car inspected. I got into it in a joking way with the guy at the inspection station. He didn't believe that I never changed my brakes. My car has over 91k city miles and is 6 years old. I bought it brand new from the dealer, and drive that bitch. But for some reason, I never had issues with the brakes or rotors. He was like "Impossible." I was like "I have no reason to lie to you man."

I did have to replace the battery 2 years into the car though, which makes this video make me say ahhh haaaaa....

This not even a conspiracy. It's real. I work for HP before and my word most if not all printers that came back for repair broke on the same day if not, the same week the warranty ended.
