Trainer Freddie Roach, speaking to The Daily Telegraph, gave his opinion on why WBA champion David Haye is great for the heavyweight. Haye faces WBO/IBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko on July 2 in Hamburg. Roach feels the Klitschko brothers are boring figthers who are not risktakers.

"Haye's the best thing for the heavyweight division right now, because he comes to fight, he comes to win, and he's a puncher. That's what heavyweight boxing should be all about. The Klitschko brothers are great boxers but they are boring. They don't take risks. You've got to go for it in this sport, and give 100%. Haye is the spark the heavyweight division needs right now," Roach said.

Haye is a big underdog in the fight with Wladimir. To win the fight and overcome Klitschko's physical advantages, Roach has advised Haye to be aggressive in the first round and attack Wladimir with power.

"The key to this fight for Haye is to take Wladimir’s confidence away, and do it early," he said. "Take him out of his comfort zone. I think Haye has a great opportunity if he goes out there early and uses his power, and tries to take Wladimir’s confidence away. That’s the best way for him to fight this, but Haye needs to take that window of opportunity."

I think he is correct on all points but I still see Wlad winning. In order for Haye to pressure him relentlessly he will leave himself open for counters and Wlads right is like a wrecking ball. Size and reach matters and as boring as Wlad is to watch I believe he is more technicaly proficient than Haye. I actually see him knocking Haye out in the latter rounds, with the only way Haye really being able to win is by knockout not points.

In all honesty... I don't see the pressure approach working. From my point of view he's going to have a lot of trouble trying to get inside... he might have eat a few just to get in and that's the problem. I don't see a way to win without monsterous power. For all that can be said about their style being boring.... the fact is they are incredible traditionalist and there needs to be a freakish element in their opponents that would cancel out their skill.... Haye doesn't have it in my opinion.

I just don't see how Haye beats this Klit...he would have a better shot against the other Klitoris.

I get confused with them as well but i figured it like this the TALLEST brother is the one with the best Chin :D
