I've seen parents do it and have often wondered why? This seems very wrong to me. Children deserve the same respect you expect from them. So why curse at them? Your the parent you need to set the standards.
If your child curses you out how do you respond to them if you've cursed at them in the past?
I've never done this but my ex did and it was kinda funny when our daughter threw some very choice words back at her. Daughter got angry at mom and just let them fly. Mom asked her "where you learn to talk like that?" Childs response, "I learned it from you!" How do you respond to that? I had to step in and quiet things down.
Just curious about how other parents think about kids and cursing.
