Do we need "BAD BOYS 3"?

We did not even need a Bad Boys II

Those films were awful

we don't need any movie.

shit's there to entertain, it's a desire, not a need.

so since some folks WANT to be entertained, let their dollars speak for them.

personally, i couldn't get through the first 40 minutes of Bad Boys 2 after trying to watch it 3 times, but a guy i worked with said it was his favorite movie ever.

:dunno:

how do u all define awful shit was mad funny had crazy action sex appeal for guys and gals and was a classic get the bad guys story what the fuck do u all look for in these type of movies ???

only if will and martin are in it.

because they are two genuinely funny ass dudes

but i will also say that if this is it, this needs to be it.

they reachin lethal weapon status now, they both old as hell let 3 be the last one.

part 2 was a litle too crazy for me especially when they went to cuba, and can anyone tell me where in miami can you drive like tht without being in bumper to bumper traffic?

let's see...from the history of hit action/comedy movies the same rules always fall into play

1. There will an onslaught of worn out jokes and antics from the previous movies.

2. One of the characters will have been so old (martin lawrence) that somewhere in the plot, if they've retired from fighting crime, they'll wind up being persuaded back into it for "one last time."

3. The villian is always on some new generation type shit. Younger henchmen, advance weaponry, an ingenious yet flawed motive, a ruthless trained killer who's tried his hand in the martial arts, or a sexy but dangerous female who is the villian's right hand man/behind the scenes sidepiece who winds up fighting toe to toe with either the character that will be hitting on her throughout the fight or his out of shape/weak partner that still somehow manages to take her down.

4. A new character will be added who happens to me the most memorable and most annoying character in the entire movie. Whether they were in one or both of the previous films, they somehow make a dramatic return to the new plot either becoming a rookie in law enforcement or has made a name for themselves doing something. Though good things were happening for them while they were absent, they'll still be treated like shit until they wind up proving themselves in either a dangerous stunt or a gunfight.

5. One of the previous characters of another film will die fueling one if not both characters to seek revenge and ironically make it through all the peril to have a shot and avenge their friends death.

There is no bar that BB3 can raise because they've had two successful films that finished up the story well. If anything the only reason anyone will want to see the film is because they producers have strayed away from the franchise long enough for fans to wonder what they've been up to since the last film. In two movies alone, they finished off a trilogy's worth of plot.

I guess i wouldn't mind just to see Will and Martin back together again. Hell, I loved that last Rambo and Rambo 5 is in production...

Martin is probably all for it. Will.....not so much. I'm not saying that Will wouldn't share the spotlight. But, why should he? He is a leading man. If he does share the the leading man role, it is going to be on some epic type shit w/Washingon, Deniro, Pacino, Crowe, Cruise, or Hanks), not on some buddy cop comedy sequel.

Who knows, maybe he does it because Martin really wants to.

Who would you cast for Badboys III? Remember both guys have to be funny, but one also has to be able to be a bonafide action star and make it look beliveable. You could cast Jaimee Foxx, but he is probably thinking like Will Smith.

To get Will, they would probably have to offer him some outrageous number, probably around 30 million plus executive producer title with points on the back end. Same thing that happened with Rush Hour 3, Tucker and Chan both made 25 million of that and Chan hated doing it, but couldn't turn the money down...

That "Live free or die hard" Was off the fuckin chain. I can watch that movie anytime it's on and still enjoy it.

as long as they bring will and martin back and make it as good or better than the first two then its all good

if its not written yet, then it's probably is still a year or two off. The real question would be why do they like waiting 8 years between all of them.

Smith and Lawrence should do another movie together but not another Bad Boys sequel.
BBII was not that good but it will all come down to 'can we make a lot of money off the name?'
Mofos are so lazy now that they feel like they need to reuse a 'franchise' name in order to draw an audience. :smh:
