No they burned the right store. Sal smashed Radio Raheem's stereo that started the whole conflict that got the police involved that killed Raheem.
Sonny was an ignorant immigrant with no etiquette but I don't think his shop deserved to be burned down. But his existence in the neighborhood shows the way nonblack businesses want to mistreat black people but still take their money.
But Sonny's shop ain't have no black people on the wall either and they went to his store as much Sal's. The whole "I'm black too" was him getting the point across, I'm a minority too just like y'all in his broken English.
