MAN I DONT SEE HOW YA GOT IT WORSE, I REALLY DONT, IM SORRY...EXPLAIN YASELF
Few observations.
This thread needs to be linked to the "We need our own country", thread. It will answer two major questions. AA can't get along and Africans and Islanders may not embrace us the way we think they may. I would consider going to our own country if we could unite and fix shid here first.
One poster says understand kids/adults pick on each other. Yes they do but that shid is wrong. It is not healthy or ok. Wonder why there are so many school shootings...cause little bastids keep bullying the weak..everyone thinks its ok....the weak kill the ones making their lives hell....we cry and say the bully was a good child and did not deserve it. (Mike Vick, T.I., drug dealers, other criminals when the cops kick their ass) Evil begets evil.
I believe that we pick on Africans because some are assholes (given in all races) but it may be our own hatred of the underlying brainwashing of being dark/black. We praise our ancestors but we love that white man in our AA blood, cause it made us Eurocentrically beautiful. All of our lives we are exposed to everything dark as being ugly or evil. Post a light skin avg chick....she is the bomb. Post a dark skin girl and she gets no love. She ashy, she a hood rat, she this she that. Dark skinned AA suffer the same abuse from other AA just as the Africans. Do we really think Black is Beautiful? I have seen dark AA woman especially in the south whose fighting words insult to each other is how dark/black each other were.

look mayne - the problem is that those african peoples from the eastern part of africa - the east africans - they know their own history - that they are all descendants of arab rapists of black african women - theyre also aware that the whole world knows of their dark secret - their dark history - you just gotta look at them to identify them - theyre the products of centuries upon centuries of arabs raping african women - killin african men - then takin the children as slaves - this is why they are the way they are

This is bullshit how even some black Americans are stupid enough to belive what Africans are telling them ABOUT THEM. Coming up, I never came at any African, white, or Asian wrong. I am sure that it's happended with other AA, but the AA that I know are cool, down to earth.
These Africans are dealing with the fucked up African Americans for some reason then saying we're all like that, and you niggas stupid enough to fall for it!!!
If West Indians and Africans got problems with African Americans they should try and handle it as an individual basis. If not, keep yo distance and I'll keep mine. But when white folks come after ya, don't come looking for Black Americans for help. NO JESSE JACKSON, NAACP, OR AL SHARPTON.
I was talking to this Jamaican women one day. The words that kept coming out of her mouth were, "those damn African Americans!" It was then I realized how deep this shit was. These people hate like a muthafucka. In many cases it's deep down, deep rooted jealousy. THEY GOT ALL THAT PRIDE, BUT IT'S A BLOW TO THEIR EGO WHEN THEY MEET SOMEBODY MORE ADVANCED.
Let's be real, African Americans have done it all. We built this country called America. We have fought in all of the wars. We have been the only ones to really stand up to white folks in America. The greatest inventions came from us, light bulb, washing machine, music, gas mask, heart surgery, cell phone, home phone, the mailbox, the trolley, heating furnace, AC, etc.
This was not created in Africa. But it was created by the people who had been away from Africa for centuries. Why is it that Africans couldn't create this? Why us in our worst state of mind?
Also, our dance styles, the way we sing in the curch, our essences are admired and copied throughout the world. People love watching us, like Eddie Murphy, Denzel Washington, Chris Tucker, Michael Jackson, Prince, Bill Cosby, etc. Our past leaders are respected all over the world. They have also inspired other opressed people in other countries. Our old leader like MLK did things that many other leaders did not do.
So I can understand why some people hate on Black Americans, if AA aren't doing something to hurt that person(s). You should go to a Black Church or the Mosque in your city. They are in every black community in America. Those black people have open arms, well many of them do. You got to get away from niggas, or any person that's causing you harm, and stop generalizing.

The problem is when most of those immigrants arrive to this country they live in the poor neighborhoods that most of the time infested whit naggaz. It’s hard come up with a good impression of a black man when all u have for an example is someone who just got out of prison for some stupid shit he did and now he his bragging about it like he deserve a medal.
when i used to go to Howard U. in 88-90, African American students would not associate with West Indians or Africian students on campus. I'm jamaican by descent so I associated with both groups, just fucking sad how blacks discriminate against each other

Most Africans are not up on how white people are when they are around all white folk, trust me, it they knew what they really thought about Africans...
Personally many whites have been known to be democrat on the outside and vote republican in the booth if you get my drift

Those are some good questions I bolded. I'm no expert, but I think I have a theory. In remembrance that Africans in America were proselytized and deculturalized, these are a people who once had their own beliefs, rituals, and languages for so many centuries prior to slavery. As a result, Black people in America were forcefully assimilated into the ways of a white society while consciously retaining the awareness that this isn't how they've always lived. So ultimately Black people have been on a never-ending journey trying to find themselves and still are to this day.
And because Africa was extremely diverse, so many different tribes and languages (60% of a culture) died never to be surfaced again during the Atlantic Slave Trade. The laborious blood, sweat, and tears of our ancestors alleviates the notion of economic ingenuity white people love to claim. Hence, English is now the business language - a second language that must be learned in every other foreign nation.
So the influence African Americans are going to have, particularly in music, is overwhelmingly astounding.
