So.
I have been unemployed for about...two weeks? and I am going insane. So I decided to do something I had been wanting to do for a while which was to make some jewelry or something. SOMETHING as a side hustle for some cash, (I had been combing Etsy for months for supplies anyhow). Then I get on Pinterest and I see a lot of DIY boards which lead to a lot of DIY blogs and this speak of the "upcycle" or "craft" movement. Not sure if a lot of you are experiencing this but, I guess it's cool. But if you are a person like myself that isn't really good at making things but is good at putting stuff together, all this combined is like project overload. I'm itching to find a flea market or get to my nearest Hobby Lobby (which is like a 20 minutes dive away).
Well on my many adventures through craft blogland, I came across this one, Mitch L in LA. And some of the stuff she is making looks pretty cool...then I see what it is she made it out of and I want to give the
face. Just thought I'd share something off the wall. (Sorry this ended up sounding like a blog post, I haven't written anything in a while.) I gave the link to the blog below, but more specifically to the section "Guess the Mystery Thing" that she seems to be doing every week.
