Dirk warns the Mavericks if they do not improve he will demand a trade

Luckily this year's pick was top 20 protected...so we don't have to give it up this year. They better hit on it though, we could've used Jordan Hamilton :smh: :smh:

The fucked up part about Chandler is he still pissed about NOT being in Dallas, he even offered to take a home town discount to stay. Looking at how shit shaping up...we should've signed him. Fucked up part is...Haywood got the money he should be getting.

This is being blown out of proportion. He was responding to a specific question along the lines of: "Would you ever seek a trade if it ended up being you and a bunch of the Texas Legends"? Obviously a player at Dirk's stage of his career wouldn't want to be a part of a rebuilding effort and it would never be an issue because if the Mavs were to go in that direction they'd be better off trading him and bottoming out anyway. He wouldn't have to "demand" a trade.

The quote had nothing to do with him speculating about the Mavs' odds of signing Deron Williams or any other specific player. It was a radio host/journalist (Matt Mosley) asking a leading question so that he could write a column about it, which he did.

Here's a link to the interview if anyone want to hear it in context. Skip to about the 13:50 mark.

He does that shit with every damn trade like it is his trading trademark. Whomever he is trading and 1st round pick and cash.

I'm like this every time.

I can't remember the last time we had a 1st round pick.

Last time was Dominique Jones and we actually traded back into thed 1st round to get that sorry ass nigga :hmm:

Damn sure could have, I was hyped when I heard we drafted him then got pissed when we traded him for Rudy, then FURIOUS when we gave away Rudy and Brewer for an old pair of air forces and a open bag of fritos :smh:

The Mavs situation just depresses me... :suicide:

:suicide::suicide:

Not up on your idioms huh, killa

Long in the tooth means that you're getting old.

As far as Nowitzki I think his comments are funny considering that the main reason (outside of Chandler's departure) that the team did poorly was because he celebrated the championship like he didn't plan on coming back.

Noheartski put his team in an unfavorable position from the jump and now he wants to talk about being traded because he didn't step up? That kind of front runner sounds familiar.

Forgot to add what I think sparked this is the recent interview where Deron said the Mavericks look "a little long in the tooth." whatever the hell that means.

Still if they miss out on Deron is there any other free agents they can add?

i can feel dirk

he could be working on a back to back title run and his idiot owner trades away tyson and stephenson

you win when you can

i dont see the lakers trading away their key pieces immediately after they win chips

/\/\/\/\

This!

Ask any Mavs fan and they will tell you that they sold the farm after winning the title. With that said, Dirk for P.Gasol trade is order. Both are Charmin soft and Dallas gets an interior big and Kobe gets more offensive help.

:hmm:

Brewer was out there giving it to the Lakers...we needed his youth & activity. He's a good young piece to add to our mix, we just gave him away & gave VC his money :smh He's a hella active defender, that has a knack for getting loose balls, deflections, & leaking out for easy fast breaks. With him, Hamilton, & Stevenson in the 2/3 rotation...we would've had better perimeter defense & consistent knockdown 3 point shooters to create space on offense.

Why in the hell would the Mavs do that?

You trade Dirk for Gasol and the Lakers win it all next year

I just have no clue why we gave away our youth and potential young for old players

You look at a team like San Antonio they have their old core and then surrounded it with young players

We take our old core and then surround it with old players to make the oldest team in the damn NBA :lol:

I still don't get it the longer ur teeth the older you are??

I still don't buy Deron making his decision on the first day without visiting some places.
