Lots of people have the capacity to learn and maybe understand one or two particular subjects or topics. But lack the intelligence to process new information on those subjects. They also can't cross apply methods of learning to unknown subjects. Hence can't teach an old dog new tricks.
Some of yall getting too deep with it...shit was answered in the first few posts...low emotional intelligence...some of the lowest emotional intelligence are big mouth extroverts who don't give a fuck what nobody else is doing as long as they get to be heard
Soccer game was on a few weeks ago in the break room at work...Spain vs Italy is on and I am checking it out...so called history guy (bet he don't know shit about Black history) walks in, sees me watching the game and says do you know which is the more latin team? I say Spain (figured it might have been Italy but didn't really give a fuck to put much thought to my answer)...he says with a self satisfied smile "no its Italy" and begins to give a little breakdown of the history...I gotta divert my attention from the game to listen to this joker....smart as hell but too dumb to realize everybody aint trying to get a history lesson especially when they taking a few minutes off work to check out a fucking game on tv in the break room...dude gives fucking history lessons all the damn time

That shit is way more prevalent in America.
In other societies you can't survive without social skills especially with a extended family structure.
In america, a lot of kids are shielded from the general society and have weak social skills.
It's just a correlation with some educated people particularly those in the sciences that require continual practice in isolation.
It pisses me off when I speak on non-technical stuff mofos think oh he prob not technical and then when I create some next level technical shit, oh he prob not good with people.
