FoxSports this evening reported the death of Detroit Pistons Owner, Bill Davidson, age 86. The cause of death is currently unknown. He was found deseased at his Bloomfield Hills, Michigan home.
Mr. Davidson was extremely shy, and avoided all interviews and public appeareances.
He was elected to the Basketball HOF in 2008. May he rest in peace. Inducted into the Jewish Sports HOF in 2002.

Mr. Davidson was known fondly as "Mr. D" by those who work with and for him.
In addition to the Detroit Pistons,Mr. D., also owned the Detroit Shock (WNBA); the Palace, Auburn Hills; DTE Energy Music Theatre; Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey (NHL).
