Democrats Worry Biden Is Underperforming In Support from Black Men Who Want to Know ‘What About Us?’

The racial wealth gap is where yesterday’s injustice becomes today’s inequality. And it’s growing.

Since the end of the Civil War, America has slowly and painfully worked to break down racial barriers and heal the wounds of slavery. We’ve made progress, outlawing Jim Crow segregation, passing the Civil Rights Act, and electing our first black president.

But it’s still clear that, as author Mehrsa Baradaran puts it, “past injustices breed present suffering” — especially when it comes to wealth.

The median wealth among white households in America is $171,000. Among black households, it’s $17,600.

Yes, you read that right.

The racial wealth gap is massive, and it’s only getting bigger. Why?

Vox tackled this question in the third episode of our new show with Netflix, Explained. We’ll have new episodes every Wednesday, on topics ranging from the racial wealth gap to gene editing, and more. If you like our videos, then you’ll love this show; it’s our most ambitious video project to date.

Show me the proof, especially since it is all around me, as you say.

At some point we gonna have to stop arguing and "debating" with folks who live in their own worlds :smh. It's waste of time bruh.

The Democrats still trying to get that white and Latino vote. Who knows, after these past 4 yrs maybe more of them have wised up :dunno:

I hear Biden and Harris have an economic plan for Indians and South Asians. Anyone here know if the Indian community is rockin' with Senator Harris at all?

That is exactly what will happen if Biden is selected.

trump is killing his base so they aren’t a concern.
Bump! Almost a year later and the shot pushers, the same ones claiming to be “pro-black” are still doing all they can to save the so-called white man and woman.

the same people that threw all support behind Jim Crow Joe Biden and the same people that insult the business and logical minded so-called black men on BGOL by calling us “cac”

How has the Biden administration been working out so far for anyone not LGBT or in the money class?

LIFT EVERY VOICE: THE BIDEN PLAN FOR BLACK AMERICA
Joe Biden knows that African Americans can never have a fair shot at the American Dream so long as entrenched disparities are allowed to quietly chip away at opportunity. He is running for President to rebuild our economy in a way that finally brings everyone along—and that starts by rooting out systemic racism from our laws, our policies, our institutions, and our hearts.

The Biden Plan for Black America will:

  • Advance the economic mobility of African Americans and close the racial wealth and income gaps.
  • Expand access to high-quality education and tackle racial inequity in our education system.
  • Make far-reaching investments in ending health disparities by race.
  • Strengthen America’s commitment to justice.
  • Make the right to vote and the right to equal protection real for African Americans.
  • Address environmental justice.

Has this gone into effect yet??

@Soul On Ice @Supersav @xfactor @gene cisco @Camille @geechiedan

Ive already posted the solutions:

1) bring back the gold standard and abolish the Federal Reserve/central banking system and IRS.
2) Abolish the two-party political system.

that fixes 90% of all issues in this corporation.

“Jan 6” was a contrived event. Only FOOLS believe that was authentic.

Here's the real reason why Dems are about to get washed: They've conceded rural America. The same rural America that Jesse Jackson made serious inroads in, and that Barack did well in.

“We’re letting Republicans use the language of the far left to define the Democratic Party, and we can’t do that,” Heitkamp said. “The trend lines in rural America are very, very bad. … Now, the brand is so toxic that people who are Democrats, the ones left, aren’t fighting for the party.”
