how does it consume your life? well it can ring anywhere you are...in the car, eating dinner, chillin' with your fam or close one, at school, in the library, shopping, on vacation, etc....wherever it is you will most likely answer and stop everything you're doing at that moment or at least divert your attention to a phone call which about 99.9% of the time never seems to be life threatening or extremely important. i don't want to be distracted by anyone while i'm living my life when im not at home. most people just use them as a fashion accessory or to show off in order to feel important. there's absolutely NO need for phones to get upgraded every 5 months either. even if you get a phone its because you need to communicate...not because you need the flattest or smallest phone that can hold 1,000 songs with a touch screen and and two screens.....

Your screename says it all. And your reference to 'White-mans" credit says even more. Not a slave to a cell phone but got a slave mentality that only white people should have good credit. And if Oprah does not own a phone, it's because she owns someone that has 3.
 
i never said only whites should have good credit and i dont even think that was implied...truth is black folks don't have credit as good at their white counterparts...i don't think there's any racism there...just stating what's true.

You have no self control and are most likely not able to obtain one that is not prepaid. You can always turn it off if you don't want to be bothered. Your excuses are lame.
