In the process of trying to take my company to the next level and I need to upgrade my accounting system. I have already upgraded the patient information side (BTW I run a small mental health services company) but I need to upgrade from quickbooks business to something that complies with Defense Commissary Agency Internal Control procedures IE. Deca. I have found companies like Deltek that specialize in this type of accounting program but I haven't found one that integrates with electronic health information systems used by companies that primarily bill medicaid and private insurance.
Does anyone out there have familiarity with this type of accounting and could point me in the right direction. Any help on the requirements or how I can integrate it with Health information systems would be greatly appreciated.
Btw all you smart techies should be on this Health Information Systems are big money the entire healthcare game is in flux and with change comes opportunities so I will let you know what providers need if you let me know what's out there.
