Question for the board, for a point he didn't mention.
I've been growing out my hair since 2019. I got my starter dreads sometime in late 2020. At this point my hair is on my neck.
Something I've been noticing since I started my loc journey was that when I order food, some places don't bother offering me a chance to tip.
I always tip well, but if people are going to see my dreads and assume I won't tip, so they don't even often me the chance
Anybody else here with dreads ever experience this? Or just being black men in general. I swear people (even in the service industry) make the worst assumptions.
You're just fucking yourself outta money.![]()
Me and my bald spot see through this thinly veiled hair flex
No flex. No lies told here.
My loc journey started on the day I got my last haircut in 2019. My hair line was looking a little weak and I let the barber talk me into getting that black paint line up shit.
I was wearing a hat that day and by time I got home that paint shit started running and fucked up my new hat.
I throw that shit out and made my decision then and there to be done with haircuts.![]()
