First I'll post my dude..

Just got back from seeing this and I gotta say. DAYUMMMMMMM !!!!!!
This is what a Summer blockbuster is about.
Holy high hell.
Captain America: Winter Soldier, Snow piercer, Dawn of the planet of the apes, and DoFP are the best films for me this year so far.

Two words for this movie.. Muthafukin CEASAR. If Andy Serkis doesn't get some type of nod for this film... Every single scene he was in was OWNED by him. I'd liken him to Alexander the great, if Alexander was a talking Ape. Ceasar not only had his thing of mixed emotions with humans, but a rivalry in his own camp. But no matter ceasar ran that shit, period.

The humans were made up of various camps, some trying to survive, some only for revenge, others looking to reclaim the world for humans and kill or exile the apes. But it's the apes world now.

The plot moved in a fast clip, and had enough slow down to let you catch your breath, then they hit you with some shit. There alot of points in the movie where I had more feelings for the apes than the humans. The actors for the apes played the roles just that damn well. The facial emotions were there.
Not all the apes were angsty or hated humans.

There is one scene that had the theater rollin. It involved 2 humans and a ape and a hallway. Man that part was gansta..

This is smart, entertaining popcorn flick, what summer movies were made for.
Transformers doesn't even fit this year, the 17 minutes of GoTG shit on the whole 165 minutes of Transformers. Rocket and Ceasar, will be the breakouts this year.

:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:
Awesometacular, and will buy on bluray indeed.

I assume the Black guy(the one who has the"You wanna know the scary thing about 'em? they dont need lights,power,heat.." line in that one trailer) doesnt make it to the credits

Just came back from the midnight show. I'm very picky about movies and this was one of the best movies I've ever seen. Instant classic. Way better than the first one. I would say it was the perfect movie. Not one dull moment. There was a big round of applause from everyone when the movie was over.

Caught the 10pm 3D presentation showing for $7 Bucks !!! BEST DAMN $7 Bucks I SPENT!!! KOBA is a funny muthafucka!!! Cant wait for 2016

Shit was good but seemed hella long. Slowed down toward the end for me but hell it was after midnight. Maybe that played a part in it. Grade: B+

saw it today....

was really good...

this summer sucked so far...this redeemed it a lil bit...

oh yeah...its got some misty-eyed moments...prepare urself...:)

Heading out to see it in about 20 minutes. Been waiting MONTHS for this shit to come out. Andy Serkis is a beast. And I was watching those old Planet of the Apes movies with my dad when I was a kid so I'm a fan.

whats gonna b the name of the 3rd one....?

Before they made the first one they bought the license of all the original movies names. So maybe Battle for the Planet of the apes. Or War for the Planet of the Apes

nah thats going to be the name of The Asylum's bootleg knockoff version..War Of The Apes :roflmao2:

Man this was non-stop badass. Straight up action and amazing storytelling. These digital creations showed more range of emotion than most Oscar winners.

Koba was off the hook, a no joke player!!!!! This flick was in beast mode for most of the movie. Damn good movie...the best so far this summer.

Just saw it, great CGI animation and Koba is the new O-Dog but I thought it became boring. Towards the end I didn't care about the story anymore.

Rise of the planet of the apes was better in my opinion. Worth the matinee price, but hype is little excessive. 2nd best film of summer (Snowpiercer)

Scars make you strong - Koba

Koba was that muthafucka, But I'm liking how Ceasar's son finally understood what his pops was about and why.

If they can make a movie like this about monkeys, why the fuck is it so hard to give depth to damn Alien Robotic organisms with advanced technology?

Koba would be a perfect bgol member

His hate for cacs is next level

me and the wife just came from seeing this......
and you beat me to it. Koba is str8 off bgol
:lol::lol::lol::lol:

they should've added more to the ending to give us an idea to what the next one will be like

Let it go, bro. Michael Bey doesn't care about that.

My feelings exactly.

Agreed. Was still a great film though:yes:

This film really made me NOT care about the human side at all. The human aspect was the part that dragged/slowed down to me. I think it would have been a perfect film just about the apes period.
