As much material as there is on this board you could easily be the next black comedian depending on your image/delivery. If I didn't suffer from stage fright I'd easily write some shit and try my hand @ it.
it's easy to get over stage fright dog, just go up there and start talking. everybody had to get over that. i read where richard pryor used to damn near cry before he went up when he was first starting out. i have plenty of bgol shit stashed but 99% of the material i do now is from my own dome, and im making good progress believe it or not. im even branching out to start doin comedy for middle and high school kids. i got the first show set up this saturday at a local rec center. if it goes good i just found myself a niche. i got connections with the boys and girls clubs that are already diggin me so i just gotta go hard.

That was the problem when I'd go on stage. I couldn't start. Then when I did I wasn't very confident @ all. Shit I get nervous just giving presentations to coworkers.all it takes is to keep trying. hittin them open mics and just trying man. the biggest thing to remember is that the audience WANTS you to do good because they came to laugh. think of the audience as one person and you havin a conversation with that person.Interesting move.
