Chris Rock sat in a room full of white people and let Ricky Gervais us the n-word, even Seinfeld didn't feel comfortable with it and Rock said nothing.
If you're going to go at Will for slapping Chris (which was wrong) go at Chris for sitting there and doing nothing.

I've heard SO many different reasons WHY Will turned down the role.
another interview/report has it that he felt D'jango want the HERO enough and wanted the other character's role to be reduced.

Ordinarily, I would care to get more context to the statement. However, with the recent events happening in DC and really the country at large I've been in a bad mood to say the least. First, Will Smith has been in multiple action movies. So, why would that character's actions be questioned. While I didn't necessarily disagree with the response he also smack a man in public for disrespecting his wife. If did misunderstand or jump to conclusions, hey lol.
My issue? In my mind this do the right thing at all cost is why this country is heading in the worse direction particularly for minorities. People like Will Smith will advise you to do everything but fight. Not that it believe Will. He's basically let it be known that he is always in character mode in public.
