. In MMA you can lose a fight and not take one hit to the head. And yes I understand MMA you can break a leg or a arm but you brain has a higher probability of being intact.

I'm surprised there aren't more deaths (or extremely serious injuries) with street fights. People hitting their heads on concrete / pavement, etc. Also, the further strikes / kicks on the ground when people are already concussed.
