Maurice Sendak, the author who wrote where the wild things are, died today. He was 83. I loved that book. The movie was meh, but I loved that book, and I'm sure millions upon millions of other children did too. That's the great thing about being an author though. He will always be remembered for writing that classic children's story. R.I.P.
