I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks that Bob Johnson sold bet for far less money than he deserved (2 billion). Now look at the vitamin water thing with 50-They sold it for $4.1 billion. Why did they let Def Jam (they offered jay the name)use the name that they should have had ownership of (Rocafella) to use against them to divide and conquer them. Ok I just watched the clip, I honestly can say I'm leaning towards Dame even though I can't stand that nigga but you got to respect that dude and only reason being is that people have said for YEARS all Jay did was ride ninjas coat tails to get where he needed to go.
He did it wit Foxy, B.I.G, etc. He latched on to niggas that was HOT AT THE TIME. So that being said Jay is a real faggot for that shit, however Dame was on that Sam Rothstein shit and he should have played that positon of being the Muscle behind the scenes and out of the lime light because honestly if they were on the same page they could have freaked rockafella into Jay running Def Jam as President and Dame being Vice president. Jay could have been the figure head and still do his thing.
Sad to say Jay felt like he didn't need Dame no more and the funny shit is like Dame said he went to bat for that nigga when nobody didnt want to fuck with him period.
I think business wise both handled it wrong but personally Jay stabbed the nigga in the back and that shit is fucked up but it shouldn't surprise anyone because thats been Jay's M.O for a long time and Dame should have recognized that and set himself up just in case Jay would pull some shit like that shit he did with the whole Def Jam situation.

After seeing this, I respeconize Dame Dash's hustle and how he handled his business as an entrepenuer. He's shrewd and rentless to the core and you need that in the game. And He's quite studious as well, But he's also an asshole to the core. I was a coach for his team roc AAU basketball team last year, i'll never work for that cheap asshole again. This nigga wouldnt give the kids shit, but t-shirts and a pair of wack ass pro-keds every once in a while. I can see why people dont like him.
But, he made some questionable decisions too, in fairness to jay, in reference to the camron situation. I think that was the last straw for Jay.

Remember that before they signed Kanye, no one esle was that hot to sell records on their own without Jay. So if you think about it, Jay and Kanye are still the main product at the the ROC, same as when Dame was there.
They both handled the business aspect of it wrong but Jay did some low down dirty grimy shit thats not forgiven. Dame rode wit the ninja when nobody didn't want to fuck with him. Dude stayed loyal to the core
