Ive always felt a sequel to Avatar was pointless.

The reason Avatar had the record was you were forced to watch it in 3D/IMAX to get the full experience. The visuals were revolutionary but today its the norm. Story-wise to me it was complete they killed the bad general, kicked the foreign invaders off the planet and dude got the girl...now with the sequel the first thing they do is lock down stephen lang to come back as the bad general?!?
