no it's not. that's daantalkk's asic setup. Unless you're a white 39 year old man

I mine with pools (you have to find a pool that supports the coin you're trying to mine), the payout frequency depends on what you are mining. I used nanopool for ethereum.

I switch up what i mine a lot, but I've mined ETH, SIA, SUMO to name a few. I'm probably going to move to Monero and Zencash soon.

Would love to more about your setup, I'm trying to start this off in the new year.
And what GPU are you using, I heard its best to have have to wallet accounts.
Plus Im going to use Linux. Windows is good to as well.

I'm not getting rich or anything. I actually did it just out of curiosity more so than trying to turn a huge profit. And you'll need to take into account both the electricity costs as well as the hardware costs because it might take a number of months for you to start making a profit.

I use AMD GPUs since they are better at mining certain coins like ethereum.

You'll need a wallet when you mine so that the payments have a place to go.

no shit. i was being facetious because this mining shit is ridiculous. u aint gonna win against industrial miners (e.g. Chinese bitcoin miners). look at the date

you know there's an article in Bloomberg Businessweek a couple years ago about some kid whose father owned a power plant? that kid used it to power his Bitcoin mining, wayyyyyy before this bubble occurred.

here, i found it. look at the date again

Not trying to win with these industrial miners, just try to have a nice set of income stream with this mining thing

how many coins can you mine with the rig?
Is it possible to mine 5 coins with one rig.

I think you can mine as many coins as you want (though I've never done more than two at a time). How fast you are mining (hashrate) will be affected by how many coins you are mining. For example if you are mining both ethereum and Sia. Your hash rate for each will be lower than if you only mined one of them.
