I'd like to go on a cruise in June or July with one of my closest friends. But we were discussing eye candy of course and we realized that not too many men go on cruises.

Every time you see pics from the Michael Baisden cruise or the Tom Joyner cruise it's mostly women.

Why is that? Do you think it would be boring? Do you think it's too much money to sit on a boat?

Femmme its important to choose the right cruise line. My young buddy (he's 22) and his best friend cruise every winter and get much ass, but they choose a line that caters to young party people.
Do not go on Crown Dynasty- I had no idea about cruise lines and I took my mom on a week cruise to the Bahamas-paid a grip of money to get the best rooms and everything. I was clueless. Almost everybody on the cruise was white and over 60! My mom and I were bored as hell!!!!

Dunno why dudes don't go on cruises, me and my roomate are gonna try to go on a few this year, but he's booed up all the time so I dunno how that's gonna work. Shits great, not really expensive, and as you say allot of friendly females. Nice experience. I agree more fellas should go on cruises just to try sample other cultures.

I've been on a cruise with my family. Carnival, I don't think that's the best cruise line for adults and single people. Yes it's boring. Most of the attractive women were older and they were with their boyfriends and husbands and the ones that were in my age range wasn't 'bout nothing (bunch of bluffs.) I enjoyed the islands but the fun was short lived. You only had a few hours before the boat left. most of the time we sat, chilled and talked even though we didn't do anything:angry: :hmm: I spent most of my time with a cute young women from newyork and i pulled damn near all her information only thing i didn't get was her social security number. but still didn't smash. :hmm: the food was all right. I stuffed my self every two hours. The funniest thing was watching my younger cousins and brother pull the young(er) females shit was hilarious. I'd do it again with my family in a heart beat but i don't know about going on a cruise with just friends.

Hmmmm...maybe guys don't go on a crusies because it costs way to much to travel alone. Not every guy will room with another guy since the rooms are small with one bed in most cases. Where for the ladies, they room will room with another famale in a heartbeat.

Speaking for myself, if I want to chill then I want to do things that relax me. I can't say that food and drinking does that for me. If so, I can do that at home for much less.

Now if it were an older crowd booty cruise then sign me up. For me to spend that kind of cheese for a week alone, it ain't going to happen. It would depend on the age and maturity of the crowd. I damn sure don't want a FAMILY cruise. I just went to the BAHAMAS and stayed at SANDALS just to stay away bad-assed little ones and it was a GREAT WEEK. From now on, adult only trips for me.

Just my 2 cents on the subject

Much of the eye candy is not the passengers but the CREW! Royal Caribbean is the best as i've heard.

Well, I know of some urban cruises for the 30 and up crew but I fear it's just going to be mostly older fuddy duddy type women or older couples.

And swift, there are lots to do on a boat besides eat. There is gambling, rock climbing, stage shows, magic shows, comedy, generally a nightclub, contests. And then when you dock, the sight seeing for where ever your destination city is.

I think women are more willing to spend money for a little adventure.

C/S. The cruise line and date are two things to look at. I know of a few guys who go on cruises, either with a bunch of homeboys on pussy patrol, or with fam. The two fellas I know that go with family have a lot of male relatives, so they hit the dance floor after dinner and talk up the single ladies. I'm trying to find out which one they go on because my friends and I are trying to go on a cruise this year also.

fuck tom joyner and his over priced cruises. Go on a greek island cuise thats where you will find some of the best..... oh wait those are some of the best women in the world.:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Going on a cruise later this year. Still in the planning stage tho so this thread is a good source of info.

Your right Fem,

I know there may be plenty of things to do, just not plenty of things I am interested in doing. Good luck to all and have a good time.

Damn I wanna go on a cruise. I just dont wanna be on a floating retirement home either. I need the party cruise.

I did go on a cruise last year after the Cricket world cup here in the Caribbean last year because they had a special on. I wanted to try it while i had the money so i did.

Cruising can be a wonderful experience but it sucks ass when you are by yourself and the shy introverted type. I can be myself with people i know but it takes me a while to open up with strangers so it was a so so experience. Great in terms of the service and the ambience, sucked ass because i only met unattractive single women who showed interest.

Next time i go though i will plan and go with a group of people i know though because an experience like that is one to be shared.

And for you femme even if you do go on a couples mostly cruise i am sure you will not be suffering from an inadequate supply of cock single guys or not.

But take your time and shop around to figure out what experiences you wish to try it will pay off in the long run. As a Bajan sea, sand and sun don't cut it for me by themselves i need more than that to pique my interest.

yeah but that depends on your idea of adventure...

and when a woman wants to fuck she will fuck...all she has to do is act a little flirtatious and she'll need nigga repellant to keep the dudes off.

It doesn't work like that for men generally speaking..

See that's the whole fun of it. You never know what you might see.

I wonder if they do cruises to Hedo.

Now thats what I am talking about. I am thinking of going to Hedo this year.

I hear you see things you don't want to at Hedo but, I still want to go.

:yes::yes:

Hmmm... it's so funny because this past weekend I was thinking about what I wanted to do for my 30th this year and a scorpio themed cruise might not be a bad idea. I just have to figure out if November falls in hurricane season.

My friend's mom is a travel agent and we used her to book our cruise this past summer. Me and 3 friends went on a Royal Caribean Cruise. Our itinerary included Ochos Rios, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, mexico and labadee Haiti.. It was so much fun. We went on the Mariner of the Seas, which isn't the newest ship, but its still modern as hell. There were barely any other black people, but the ones who were there were country as hell (hell so were the white people) The crew members were friendly as hell, we got all types of hookups just cuz they noticed us, 4 cute black girls chilling having a good time. We had free drinks from one bartender, another guy got all our pictures for us for free. Another man hooked us up with a taxi in Jamaica so we avoided tourist prices....

good times

Sounds like you Ladies had a good time. If the same things were given to a group of men.......we would say.......

NEVER MIND

:lol::lol:

To each his own. I am still not feeling it yet.

You can find cheap cruises by comparing prices, buying early, and doing your research online. Make deals for such things as room upgrades, tours, etc. The only thing is to pick the right time of year and the right cruise line. Royal Caribbean and Carnival are considered the best.

Unfortunately, I went on my cruise with the family during Spring Break, and the boat was packed with kids (and I mean Disney age). Also, my sisters had booked through the travel agent relative of a friend and we got rooked on the cruise price and air fare ($500 from NY to Florida?!). The cruise was nice, had a bartender that treated us well, had fun on the boat, though not enough time on the islands - just toured a bit and shopped.

Next time, we will research our own trip and will leave from New York (now RC has a boat leaving from New Jersey), saving money on air fare and we'd be able to cart back all that cheap liquor as well

 $500 to fly from NY to FLA? That's insane. And that duty free is the shit. My roomie went on a cruise last year and came back with a shitload of alcohol.

Hey, I work in the travel industry (airlines), so I will get some info for you. Worst case, I will get a gang of guys to fly where you cruise to provide entertainment:lol:

Also, check out perx.com it is for airline employees, but they do a really good job of describing the resorts, the happenings, etc.

That's funny this thread was made, I plan on going on a singles cruise the end of July...don't know the specifics yet, but I do know that the ship is leaving from Manhattan and sailing up to Montreal where we can hang for a night or 2 and then head back to New York.....never been on 1 before so i'm looking forward to it.

What??

The best cruise I did was with the Norwegian cruise line, man...I think I was the only black guy on board, I have offers from the passengers and the staff, those blond European girls were beating down my door at night, on the low because they were not supposed to mingle with guests, even the cleaning girl got smashed, I never had so much fun in my life.
Never quite did get some rest though...

Thanks for the tip hon.

i work for a cruise line. don't cruise during the holidays(Christmas, or Easter). there are a ton of kids running around the ship. shorter cruises(3,4,or 5 day) generally have more young people on board. carnival and rccl really cater to younger people(25-49). i can tell u about specific ports as well. cruising to jamaica isn't cool, b/c u don't spend alot of time there. u can't see enough of the island to really get a feel for it.

i forgot about the hurricanes. cruising during hurricane season is generally cheaper b/c u may or may not get to your destinations. i have been out during hurricanes and it's not a very fun experience. if the ship can't get to a port(b/c of a hurricane), then u take a cruise to no-where. these cruises just sit in the middle of the ocean until they can get back to port.

I would not recommend a regular cruise due to the trash I see coming off the ships. I just can't imagine being stuck on a ship with hundreds of them for 3 days 5 days or whatever.

However, I did this : http://www.easycruise.com
and it was mad cool. shit i got on in st maarten in town and went antigua st kitts and nevis and back to st maarten and it was less than 200 bucks. you buy your own food and drinks but it was all cheap and good. they had 2 happy hours a day where premium drinks are 2 bucks. the thing thats cool is you roll into port 9 or 10 am but the ship doesn't leave til 4 or 5 am so you really actually can move around the rock night and day and not be stuck in tourist hell zone for a few hours. also the boat actually had a real decent non commercial underground london club type dj. also a much younger hipper crowd on the ship and lots of west indians too. you will have fun and eye candy and meet cool people. check it.

edit: oh shit they are not doing the Caribbean this year only Greece. damn I'm glad I did it last year.

I cant speak for all gujys, but cruises just don't seem that practical to me.When I travel I like a few days to see the sights and explore the destination. When you are on a cruise, you spend alot of time on the boat and just a day or two at the destination.I would rather club, rockclimb etc etc etc at the destination than on a boat.

Yeah, the travel agent got the tickets at the last minute .

The only problem with bringing alcohol back via plane is trying to pack it so it will not break when checked, worrying that someone would steal it, worrying about your bags being overweight, plus I had some Absinthe on me which at the time was illegal to bring to the US.

Next time we cruise we will leave from New York and bring back a truckload of alcohol
