I was speaking about knowledge of government, how it works, how other countries interact and how globally many are interdependent. Hillary has been in politics her entire life. Obama is an educator and has a thirst for knowledge and always seeking to learn, understand and educate himself. They have set positions that they can articulate, they have a plan and a goal. DT's position changes according to the last idea that sounds good to him. He proposes things that are illegal. (Torture, targeting families of terrorists, etc) He is often wrong and doesn't even know he's wrong. When presented with 3 or 4 possible positions, when presented with 2 contradictory plans of action, he doesn't have a personal doctrine or well of knowledge to inform his decisions. Everyone needs advisors, but DT doesn't have enough of a political or world understanding to know what is or isn't good advice. He will be swayed by whomever sounds the most authoritative.
The first time Hillary ran for the president, I thought she was qualified, but I considered her a problem and was worried because I didn't think world leaders would respect her because she was a woman. Taking the SOS position changed that, it put her on the world stage with direct meetings with many people, and increased her knowledge. Gave her exposure to world leaders and their ambassadors who could see she was competent one on one. From all the reports over the past 18 months or so, all indicate DT doesn't like to read, he doesn't like to prepare or study. Yes he overrode many people and did what he wanted to do, but he was overriding SOUND advice, and did what he wanted to do to make his ego feel good. So far his expertise in doing things his own thing has come down to personality, manipulating people and forcing a response based on his rhetoric, telling them what they want to hear. What happens when he promises a world leader something we can't legally or otherwise deliver on because he thinks it sounds good or would make a good deal? There has been no indication of any sort of intellectual depth on policy matters, other than possibly trade. You think this is a good thing?
There have been various reports covering things he has said on Maddow, Joy Reid and other shows. When seeking the source of his claims, the only places the information was found were places like Breitbart and infowars. He could have also gotten it directly from Bannon if he is advising him, but it amounts to the same thing.
DT didn't think he was going to win. As soon as he starts getting reports of the death threats, and realizes how deep he is in, I think he may try to get out if his pride will let him. That leaves us with Pence tho, who wants to have funerals for aborted fetuses, and thinks people don't need drugs or hiv prevention, they just need to live right. He is one of those hellfire and brimstone folks who want to see people punished and shamed for their behavior as being God's will.
There is no way to predict how this will pan out at this point in time, we just basically have to wait and see. It will also come down to some of the SCOTUS picks as well.
I predict tho that BGOL better stock up on condoms. The raw, no pullout game may become a thing of the past. It's possible DT could end the free birth control pills mandate of the ACA with an executive order, if they over turn roe vs wade, abortion wouldn't be an option in many, if any, states.
