Could you under any circumstances leave a inheritance to your step child

Some of you brothers have step kids you look @ the child like it is yours because you been in his/her life since they was knee high & has grown attached. Some of you brothers have a step child and a biological son.

Is it ok to leave something to your seed and less or none inheritance to the step child?

I mean the step child aint at fault he/she didnt ask to be born in those conditions. If nothing else brothers chime on in about elderly family members you know/knew of that passed on and had step children/step kids and what the step kids got in the will.


If your step kid already is written in his/her biological father will is it ok to still leave something in the will of your step child or you giving it all to your biological kids.


But hey not everyone with step kids have biological kids of they own.

If you marry a woman and she has a child or children, you are taking in the role of dad, if you build a bond with the kids then why not.
if you leave all of your wealth to your wife, she will break them off something anyway.

Yes without a problem... if me and the stepchild are in each other's lives that's not a problem at all... I may have raised the kid....

I'm not as young as I once was so If these kids are grown that's a different story and need to be taken into account on a case by case basis depending on how me and the step child relationship is...

Of course, if you are emotionally invested in the child and you have reason to believe they will use it for good. Depending on how much you got. that could be said for people to who you have no strong connection.
