Dude was stupid he should of surrendered or ran. I don't know what he had done initially though. The officer did murder dude in cold blood. He didn't have the gun on him and I think some of those long range shots hit the dude too. Dude who died it was his own fault

We're going off of the knowledge after the fact. We gotta keep in mind that the officers arriving on the scene only know that the suspect has supposedly taken control of the other cops gun. In pulling him out he has no idea if the gun is in dude's possession or not, so he pulls him out an shoots quickly, without giving an opportunity. After the fact in our shoes it's easy to say shoulda, woulda' coulda, but when you're in a high adrenaline potentially deadly situation with a colleague, you're just going.. sadly. The one part I definitely agree with is what you stated, that it was wild for the cop to be shooting from so far away especially when no shots were heard being fired prior. If his partner was sitting up in the seat, the other cop would have died from friendly fire. Long story short, whatever happened happened because dude decided to be a retard and turned what could have been a simple situation into his death.

There's lots of battles to fight...this is not one of them. Fuck that guy. That stolen U-Haul truck was probably the first crime of a crime spree. Who knows what his plans were. I'm happy no innocent people got hurt because that could have been much worse.
