Cops attack a man recording their dirt from across the damn parking lot

Let me guess somehow the police didn't get name of the person who told them dude was involved. A good samaritan told us the man recording was involved in the crime we immediately confronted the suspect, once we secured the suspect we noticed the samaritan had left.

Not in this case, even before Trump cops didn't like being recorded, by anyone.

Are u ok? Seriously. This has nothing to do with Trump. They have always acted like this. Its just that there are cameras now....
I'm good, @Day_Carver
However, I draw a parallel between incidents like this, the elderly man Martin Gugino getting knocked down and walked over in Buffalo, NY and several other incidents of aggression and even outright murder I've seen by police in recent times.

This, in the era of the so-called leader of the free world who bills himself as the "law and order" president. This is a man who has fully embraced police and publicly encouraged them to rough people up, who pardoned that scum Sheriff Arpaio and whose administration dedicated itself to dismantling consent decrees, thereby removing protections for citizens from police misconduct. Blue Lives Matter knows they have a friend in the White House.

No one knows what specifically was in the mind of the cop on the video or what all specifically motivated him to physically attack that man. So we can't say with certainty that "this has nothing to do with Trump." anymore than we can say with certainty that it did.

This is exactly why many people don't trust the police, and not just black people. Even the so called good ones are very capable of being thugs at any given moment. I've never advocated for defunding them, but anyone with half a brain can see the need for reform. Shit has to stop.

I dont believe any of these acts that white people are showing is related to Trump; these people and these cops have been acting this way since they have dealt with us; nothing is new. The difference is social media and cameras everywhere; thats it; their behavior is just been caught and aired more. And thats a good thing. Expose all of them. Let them all come out. That parallel to Trump is bullshit....

Brother, if you don't see an uptick in white aggression in the Trump era, it's because you're refusing to look. If you are not seeing that his rhetoric has an effect on mindset and that mindset has translated into an increase in white violence, it's because of willful blindness on your part.

Your saying that it is bullshit is just your opinion, which you are entitled to. However, that specific statement does not = fact.

Is it really an uptick or is it we are just saying their actions posted on social media; and being captured by cameras?? You think cops behavior has/have changed because of Trump being in office :hmm: man cops been killing us ever since ever since...whites been acting this way. This shit ain't nothing new. Its just being more and more acknowledged and pointed out...

The articles that I replied to you with include quantifiable data that there is a rise in white racist violence, terrorist acts, etc since Trump took office. We've all seen white supremacy groups embrace him. Now there's QANON to add to the situation.

Things have changed in terms of the official U.S. government response also however. President Obama nor his HS chief never got on a microphone and depicted Black Lives Matter as terrorists and sent a private army out to beat them down and disappear them. That's all Trump. The same man who publicly declared white supremacy to be non-existent.

So in regard to your questions, all the above you said is true. It's not new. These acts are getting coverage via social media and are being captured on cell phones more. However a large part of the reason it's being covered, captured, acknowledged and pointed out more is because it's also happening more. Remember, in the Obama era the same cell phone cameras and social media were around.

A rise in white racist violence acts since when? from what time period are they comparing?

Yes! And they need to be sued personally, not on behalf of the municipality so their own pockets take the hit, and not the public's pockets.
Exactly!!
