Big Whit is "break-it-down" type brother and has always pointed at root causes for shit. The shit that got him in trouble (or at least was his 2nd strike) was the Sunday morning when he was on "The Sports Reporters" and COMPLETELY owned Mike Lupica and (to a lesser degree) Mitch Albom by basically telling them to shut the fuck up and settle down on a particular sports story they were discussing.
Whit told them that even when he played sports, sports to him was just that.......SPORTS. And for journalists to get all fizzed up about the goings and comings surrounding these "games" was silly and most times misguided. (Couldn't help but think of Big Whit watching ESPN's coverage of the draft

I know some of yall feel its his money and all is good, but what some fail to understand is that we as Blacks in this country, have a long history of squandering money! Thereby is would be wise for us blacks to be extra careful how we spend our bucks!
Trust me for every black who fails at managing his money properly, there are at least 20 whites, waiting in the wings, 'often posing as your friends.' who feel that us blacks are too dumb to have it and don't deserve it, so they have no problem stealing it from us!

There is NO WAY you can put Rakim in the same category as a Young Jeesy, Young Jock or the Ying Yang Twins. Listen to title track alone and you can see the night and day difference. Let me break this down. In the title track Rakim starts of off talking about I want to get rich, then he raps about how to get that paper, he turned into a "stick up kid" The song goes on and he raps about becoming righteous and turning away form that life and trying to get a "9-5" job". Then he raps about how he misses making that paper when he was a stick up kid. He ends the song stating how he is not going to wish about being paid so he is going to focus more attention on his music career. To his rhyme lasted just over one minute. (For those of you who have the best of Eric B and Rakim, it will say the song is 7 minutes long, but rakim's rhyme is only for 1:10)
