The Half Hour News Hour is a half-hour television news satire show set to air Sunday evening on Fox News starting February 18, 2007. Creator Joel Surnow describes the show as "The Daily Show for conservatives". Two pilot episodes have been taped, with the possibility of new shows being aired weekly. [1] Cast and crew of the pilots include Kurt Long, Susan Yeagley, Manny Coto, Ned Rice, [2] and April Winchell. [3]

On February 12th The Half Hour News Hour aired a promo commercial on the Fox News channel. Shown as a spoof "Public Service Announcement", the show warned that it may offend "The Left, The Far Left, Anyone Standing to the Left, Gay Penguins, Lawyers, The ACLU, Anyone With ACLU in Their Name, Democrats, People Who Voted for Democrats, People Who Know Democrats, Gay Penguins, Illegal Aliens, Space Aliens, and Tom Cruise." (Gay Penguins were listed twice as a joke).

Not voting Daley though. Not a chance. This guy is the George W. Bush of the midwest.
 
The fact that the show is a "Daily Show for Conservatives" tells you exactly what Fox is and has been about for years.

If the Daily Show didn't affect them, there would be no need to acknowledge them much less parody them.

Giutierrez and Jackson would've been making a lateral career move at best. And imo Jackson's got his eye on a senate seat/mansion in Springfield. Have to make dad proud.

No shot at governor. Senator maybe, but doubt it. (Only if Obama wins).
And I think the move would be better than lateral from being 1 in 435 to being the Mayor of the #3 city in the country. The job has such a shitty profile now because Daley is such an incompetent slob. Put a charasmatic man in that job and it means a lot more. Particularly one of color. Been a long time since Harold.

They're certainly are not gonna ignore it.
Olbermann should grill them for at week on this.
The first show comes on Sunday, then they are gonna rerun the same episode the next Sunday. The second episode (which has also already been shot) won't air until March 4th. Way to keep it topical Fox.
 
I bet most of ya'll missed were they played the
race card', it was when they showed that crowd of brothas and sista's jumping in celebration with 1:19 left in the video, Those were brotha's and sista's in Soweto, not america. They made reference to "Pigmies", like during the times of the 'black face' cartoons.

Dammit me and my boys should have copyrighted our hip hop show title from our college radio station back in the day.

We used to do a little skit we called The 1/2 Hour Rap Hour: All the Hip-Hop you can stand to listen to in 15 minutes or less.
