Conor knocked out Aldo with one punch...WOOOOOW!!

That exchange was vicious. At the end of the day one man stood victorious because he wanted it more and didn't have a glass jaw and that's the god damn way the sport should be. Two motherfuckers brawling and one left standing. The winner

Only a matter of a fraction of a second. Had Aldo been smarter and paced it better he'd have been victorious. Rematch coming up most likely....

I don't think it was a case of a glass jaw that was just a well placed shot that would drop a horse. Aldo's punch connected too but his was more to the side of the face..half an inch higher and on the temple and they would have both knocked each other out.

My first thoughts when I saw this was what P said on da first Mobb album....

it's all about who gets who first....craziness. I know Dana White REEEAL butthurt after this & Rowsey's embarassment....

The punch you don't see coming is usually the one that puts you to sleep...would be game for immediate rematch.

Real talk, when will top MMA fighters learn how to punch?

I know they dont all come from a boxing background, but am I wrong for expecting better then this?

what more were you expecting in terms of technique thats better than this??

I THINK you mean you were expecting a longer fighter but in terms of striking...both those shots were dead on.

I guess we now know who won that private fight between rocky and apollo...

Yep and in the movie Creed Rocky says that Apollo won the behind closed doors fight.

tone it down, one man stood victorious because he had the longer reach and his punch got their first DUE to that reach of four inches, buuuuuuuuuuuuuut that being said cant take nothing from mcgregor,

he hyped the fight, he came to fight, and he won fair and muthafuckin square..... end of story..

But Aldo deserves a rematch!!!

Bruh im not kidding, Aldo did just about everything wrong in how he threw out his left hook. And when i say everything i feel like its an understatement.

Aldos shot connected lovely but he was coming forward as mcgregor was backing up, plus mcgregor psyched him out with bullshit, talkin about

he was going to charge him.... Aldo planned for that and was suckered into a brawl...

if mcgregor wasnt backing up taking the sting of the punch, and aldo wasnt coming forward adding MORE sting to the punch, it wouldve been a different fight...!

but it wasnt so it be what it be....

Aldos camp did a piss poor job executing a game plan for this fight....

when you are fighting a taller fighter, with a punch and reach advantage,

you cant get suckered into a brawl.. without wearing the taller fighter down first...

they shouldve known better...

true if he would turned his wrist right before impact and aimed for the jaw,
we couldve been looking at a double knock out...

but I blame his camp, physically preparing him they did a fine job, mentally

horrible.....

zero game plan, they allowed mcgregor to get into his head....

you do realize the guy who KO'd him with the punch is another MMA fighter, right? you guys make the dumbest generalizations. Like every boxer throws perfect punches all the time lol. When one boxer in a match throwsa wild punch (whhich happens all the time) what do you say?

Re-read my post cause you are clearly overreacting to it. I didnt diss all MMA fighters, i understand they have different backgrounds. Im not playing the boxing vs MMA card. Im being specifically critical of the left hook Aldo threw. You know, the one that got him knocked out. And would get him knocked out again unless he fixes it. Its unacceptable. I expect better from a top, elite MMA fighter.

Even elite level fighters are prone to mistakes. Those mistakes are generally the difference between a win and a loss. In this case it just happened to be a mistake which led to a loss in one of the most dominant fashions imagined.

Agreed, how do you leave yourself exposed like that, against a southpaw with power and counter punching ability.....
