No. He got hurt in the conference quarter-finals, and played the first game against the Pacers in the semi-finals.
That was Tim Duncans first year in San Antonio.
And the Knicks would've won that shit if Ewing had played! Though it was a 4-1 series the games were very close and the Knicks had no answer for the twin towers in the paint. The Spurs closed the series with about a dozen straight Duncan points and the only answer the Knicks had was Sprewell.
Damn, Reagan must've been pretty tall.
This picture brings back bad memories, though trading for Camby was a good move that Oakley trade was the beginning of the end.
At least it doesn't make me cringe like seeing Ewing in that Seattle jersey.

John Starks was an undrafted bag boy in Tulsa, Oklahoma before he made it onto the Golden State Warriors before reaching All-star status with the Knicks. He was Kurt Warner before Kurt Warner.
Starks was definitely streaky, and though everyone wants to point to the time he came up short, I remember plenty of times where he shot the Knicks back into the game and even single-handedly dominated some quarters.
He was as much the heart of the 1990s Knicks as Patrick Ewing. Along with Charles Oakley, they formed the core of the most scrappy, defensively punishing teams of the generation. (Some people say, they ruined basketball, BULLLLLLLSHIT! Those 74-72 slugfests were fun to watch.)
As far as I'm concerned, his #3 jersey should've been retired before Stephon Marbury could have ever disgraced its memory. As far as Antonio McDyess...
