It's just a matter of time. If you ask me bout 40 years. Give or take 15. They already don't want to pay teachers. This would save them some money I think (after factoring all the computers and software and shit like that). Honestly it might be better, I don't know. If you apply all the concepts of learning it could be powerful. For example: if you noticed video games do a great job of teaching you. There are tutorials and you can't pass until you grasp the concept/skill. If that concept could be applied and put on computers teachers would be out the door. Could you imagine playing a computer game that requires you to learn geometry in a step-by-step process? Or a online database that shows the best in the world by rank? I have heard of crazier things. It's funny because teachers teach differently after about the 2nd grade. But computer software and video games seem to have grasped this concept. Only they aren't applying it right. This might be a good idea. I can't tell you how many math books I read that did a horrible fucking job of preparing me for a test. Or was missing a lot of key shit.

I grew up doing math problems on my own before computers. I'd be annoyed as well scrolling on a computer to do problems today. Maybe the ipad would suffice.

It would hurt the child once they learned the short cuts on the computer. Some classes may not need a teacher, and limit the hours to have them available. I remember doing SRA (think view master) in grade school but kids need discipline actually and must learn patience.

LOL. Now, Now. We all make mistakes; so I'm cutting slack today. Actually, when I read and re-read the title I thought, hmmmmm; something else has been replacing teachers and, now, computers are replacing teachers as well, hence the "too" as in computers also. Ya think? lol
