CNN and Soledad O’Brien are at it again; black people in America are “under observation” once more; This time, the polarizing Black In America series (what must be a cash-cow for the network), will tackle the Black Church. The episode will air on October 21st. I likely won’t be watching. I’ll leave all the successive dissection to others. So, please don’t send me any invites to viewing gatherings when the program airs (yes, I actually got invites to watch previous editions of the series; folks were planning events around it, wanting to get together and watch like it was the Negro Olympics. FAIL!).
