The US propaganda machine is alive and well. The US objective is to continue portraying Muslims as being barbaric, selling off their daughters to men twice their age. To show Muslims as terrorist who will kill for little or no reason. To show Muslims still treating their women as less than 2nd class citizens. This is the shock value the media wants to focus upon, even more so than the death of the girl.

This government controlled media will never give US citizens the full story of how this can happen. I'm surprised they said as much as they said to be honest. As Masterbaker noted the report avoided linking the modern practice of child marriages within Islam.

But this practice has been in existence for centuries. I'm not saying I condone the practice, I don't! But the US has been doing everything it can to smear and prejudice the American people on Islam. This biased misinformation has been airing since the mid-80s under then President Clinton.

Did you know the US has been at war or at odds ONLY with non-anglo countries in each decade since the 1940s excepting Russia. Do you think that's by coincidence? I don't!

One would believe that Chris Hanson and Dateline fabricated all those US, christian men seeking to fuck young girls for entertainment purposes only.

Moreover, there is no compulsion for muslims men to married prepub girls. That's nonsense. Furthermore, I do have a degree of respect that the young female was married.

What one must consider is that this sort of practice happens in small tribal communities where marriage is a matter of survival. There is no welfare or umemployment benefits. Those folks live a primitive lifestyle which includes marrying offs young women to transfer the burden of sustenance from the nuclear family.

This is a global thing that is not exclusive to Islamic believers.

And of course, it is not uncommon to have 12 year olds having babies in any state, city or community in the US.

Like it has been said. This story is propaganda. It's meant to be anti-Muslim which is just silly.

70% of black (Christian) mothers are single in the US. 70% of black (Christian) children are born out of wedlock in the US. The majority of black (Christian) children live at or below the poverty line but folks want to point a finger at Islam. Every horrible stat in the US in lea by our blacks (christians) and we want to be anti-Islam.

It would make more sense to be pro atheist.
