Nineteen-year-old Dante Williams' family said there is no doubt Dante entered the Waffle House in January of 2012 intent on robbing it, but they say he didn't have to die though he and another man Juwan Craig brandished loaded firearms, ordered patrons to empty their wallets, purses, hand over cellphones and lay on the floor. Unbeknownst to Craig and Williams, Justin Harrison a patron with a CWP (Concealed Weapons Permit) was in the house. Watch this video for the truth.

Man even in this situation,where you are totally justified and patted on the back,could you do it? And live with yourself? Yes at that moment you are totally in the right,totally within the law, totally a hero. But you took a life. I know we all talk about what we'd do in a given situation, but even cops gotta take time off and get counseling after a shooting,and that's they job. Even tho dude was completely wrong,completely a dumb ass doing dumb shit,could you look at his mom? His wife? His kids? Man I'd hate to be in that situation. As usual, the family had something to say about the situation. The ARMED robbers were just playing around, according to the dead guy's dad. Dad talking about the law-biding citizen wasn't supposed to have the gun, not that his son shouldn't have had a gun and been robbing the joint.

Williams “was probably going to run, you can tell by looking at the video,” Woodruff said. Harrison “didn't shoot him in self-defense,” he said. Woodruff said Waffle House employees knew Harrison, knew he was a regular and carried a gun, and wasn't supposed to have one in the restaurant.


“They (Williams and Craig) were acting stupid — they weren't out to hurt anyone,” Woodruff said.

Armed robbery is a mistake.... You know...like forgetting to shut off the bathroom light or put the butter back in the fridge.

if I am a parent and someone shoots my kid when he is involved in something like this I am NOT defending him. He got what he deserved. Rest in peace. I bet he won't do that stupid shit again.
