Chloe X Halle are performing at the 2019 Super Bowl!

The Grown-ish stars and singing sisters will be performing “America The Beautiful” at this year’s game on February 3 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga.

The NFL announced the news of their performance on Sunday (January 20).

As previously announced, Gladys Knight will perform the National Anthem at the game.

Maroon 5 and Travis Scott were officially confirmed as the headliners of the halftime show earlier in the month. Big Boi will also join in the performance.

Sad part about this is that the venue she's performing in isn't that big - I've been to several concerts there. Doesn't even look like it's half full.

She fucked up, yes, but her career shouldn't be destroyed over this. Not trying to start shit, but there's a certain "R"&B artist artist whose career wan't derailed for several years for worse things, although people are still "pissed" with him...:rolleyes:

Also, you know there are some white "R&B" artists out there...

Jay and B like to make money off those and just TELL YALL they ain't cuz it sounds cool. They know the exposure this gets her artists. She ain't stupid. Plus she knows in REAL LIFE, there's no boycott. Only fools actually believe it. Oh and people who lie online about how they're not watching it lol

It's a lie. chrissette doesn't do many concerts but she just had one at the end of the year that did very well. I posted about it then.

Her career didn't take a hit from.the stupid inauguration thing, that's just a narrative to make people feel like they did something. Her business had natural decreased about 2 years before that. Currently where she is, is still on par with artists of her ilk, if not better.

When have you heard of white "Rock N' Roll" artists or white "Country" artists? Uh-huh.

As for Chrisette, I hope she's learned her lesson. I guess that 75k wasn't worth it afterall.

They're not desperately, they're finding them. There's always black artists performing at these things , it's just this year y'all are deciding to talk about every announcement.

Beyonce just performed a few years ago. Missy has performed. Prince. Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, on and on. This just hurts the people who swore nobody black would perform. Us it's in the blackest city ever. Why wouldn't there be Black artists there?

Chrissette is mistaken. If you LOOK at her record sales before then you can SEE it as well.

And if you look at someone else in her lane, say , Melanie Fiona; she didn't do that, she's not "cancelled" , she just released an album and it didn't do major numbers.

Chrissette sells what artists like India Arie, Raheem Devaughn , Marsha Ambrosius, and artists like that sell. She had some.ectra looks because she did hooks for Jay Z, Rick Ross, and Nas for a while, but that died down.

I posted pictures of the same performance they wrote about in the article. You can see the pic where they showed it was empty in that article. The pics and videos I posted showed something different. It's hard to find em now because it's been weeks.

Also, they listed her in the ranks of Lauren Hill, and Jill Scott. She NEVER SOLD anywhere near that level. And again, her sales and show attendance has declined well before the inauguration. That happens. She just took the social media aspect of it all very hard. She may really believe it had something to do with all that but reality says different.

I listed the artists she is in the ranks of She's still selling what those artists sell.and she got dropped from a major label because she had TWO albums that didn't do numbers.

She had two albums that flopped before that. What caused that?

Melanie Fiona just released an album that no one bought. Is she cancelled?

Marsha did too. She cancelled?

India Arie just put out a single that didn't chart. Is she cancelled?

They're all struggling to sell tickets.

NONE of those artists could get an article in the Washington Post right nownlike she just did with that story.
