Like most of us out here I got baby moma drama for your ass,she's threating to give me that 18 year car note :smh: I'am not a dead beat dad,I take care of my daughter,buy milk,pamper's,clothes,but of course it not good enough,because I don't give her money.My question is for the ninja on here that been there and actually seen the judge.What should I be ready for when I see the man and pepare my paper work so that the judge don't look at me stupid.I want to beat this bitch with my bare hands!But I'am have to beat her with my mind instead!

hope you saved your purchase receipts, it may help you a little besides that the judge will look at your income. Look to come off 25% of your take home and find peace with it.
 
man ya first response is nonsense... i had my hearing for an cs increase cause the bitch wanted more and i went with reciepts of school clothes, birthday shit, holiday shit and misc. and i was told by the judge that anything outside of the 79.83 every2 weeks was considered gifts... (wtf) and then my shit was raised to 260.00 err'y 2 weeks now she need to get cs from the other 3 fathers instead of me... but she is doing bad... but i guess i was the one that got the college edu-macation, while she never graduated high school. :lol: (babymomma): i can't hold dis nucca down or back i'll milk dem pockets then... damn he da one that got away!!! and this is sad that the system and these broads are this way women we are not the real enemy... for the most part!!! :lol: :dance: :smh: :smh: :smh: :smh: are we? :confused:
 
They must be scorn or listening to there girlfriends,if a brother is handling his business with his kid and not with you don't try to hit him up,I know alot of cats that's haven't even seen there kid and don't even get hit with cs.Most women who do get cs don't even really need that shit,they find another nucca to live with and take care of them.

I keep those receipts,been doing alot of bookeeping as well.the sad thing is she makes almost more then me,but lives with her parents.Saving most of her money!
 
like said above save reciepts. if you bought stuff with credit card call up company and ask for printed statements as proof.


here is how you play the upperhand though..

1. Breath.

2. Accept that child support may be in your future.

3. Realize it may not be that bad. THink about the positives. If you have them deduct the money, you are garuanteed to not miss a payment short of loosing your job. But here is the greatest positive of all. Since i pay through my pay check not in person or by mail.. i never have to see her, or call her or recieve her call.. yeah i have to talk to her about who gets the kids on holidays, weekends etc.. but i no longer have to talk to her cause its pay week..

what? you didnt get the check? well, they took it out my pay, call up CS, not my prob i did my part.. clik..

4. Volunteer for CS before she takes you.. CS and judges may treat you like a dead beat dad, not always but most likely.. You volunteer, you may win the courts heart over, what does that do for you? its up to the judge unless the mother raises hell to decide if you pay back child support as well..

my judge didnt even bother.. i had all my reciepts and checks and didnt even need it, not only did he not pursue back pay, he told my sons mom she could ask for baby sitting money, "but if i were you miss, i would stick with the cs i would advise you against it, but its your choice".. she opted to not go for it

he told her she could ask for medical fees as well for medicene etc.. "but your sons father is paying for medical insurance, so i would advice against it miss" she opted to not go for it..

mind you, by law he has to present to her her options, just doesnt have to push for it..

5. also i had a lawyer, she didnt, get one..

lol the judge and court officer were so baffled that i volunteered for CS they had me sitting in the wrong seat (cause the microphones record the proceddings and mics are set by plaintiff on one side and other party on the other side.. ) it was actually funny

got the same judge when i went to lower my payments.. he remembered me, so he lowered my payments according to the law as far as 25% for 2 kids 17% for one..

problem i was scared about was that it had been 5 years since that time.. so even with lower child support percentage, my salary had gone up by almost 35k since i volunteered... dude looked, older black guy too, he based my new CS payments on my salaray from 1999 not from 2004.. wow what a difference that made..

before it was 1k a month for two kids, with new salary it would have been about 1300 a month for one child, so i went down to about 500 month instead of the 1300 a month for 1.

again.. good presentation, a lawyer, a sense of concern for your child etc.. with the right judge can be in your favor.. but if you start with that man i got this bill and that and a car note etc.. man dont no one give a fuck, cable bill, car note all that shit is luxury..

go in humble and aware...

CS is mostly based on both salaries.. usually cats get hit hard cause the moms works off the books or is on public assistance.. if she makes more then you might turn out ok...
 
i went through that shit too! keep receipts always pay on time. and keep a copy of the order around. if she want to trip about what you aint doing. remember just because you didnt pay on time or at all. you still have rights to see the kid. and if you really want to kick her in the nuts, countersue her for custody depending on her situation and how much money she is asking for.*good luck with the last suggestion*. OH and do not quit your job or intentionally take a paycut they will tear your ass up on that one. and the ultimate FUCK YOU within the law of course, have another baby and split her money up. dont get married either unless its to her, because that is viewed as increased income if you wife got a job.
 
Depends on the formula for calculation in your state. Having records is cool, but depending on your judge it may not get heard. If you can afford a decent lawyer get one. Make sure that everything you have done for the child financially is noted and you are given credit for it.

Its better to have way more information than not enough because unfortunately the burden of proof will be on you to prove that you have done your part to support the child up until the point of the hearing.

If you give anything to the mom monetarily make sure that it (check or money order) specifies it is for the purpose of child support. DO NOT give her cash.

In Florida the formula is gross incomes from both parents minus tax obligations and legal deductions (i.e. you owe back taxes or support another child and its deducted from your pay, or shit you have to pay as part of your employment like union dues, etc.) then they factor in who pays the health insurance for the child and any type of daycare.

If ya baby's mom is receiving state cash assistance you are gonna pay that back..period.

All I can say is my daughter won't have a brother or sister on my side of the family.And like (Jagi) said I'am not trying to see or talk to her ever again unless it's when it's time to get my kid.Don't call me for shit!When I was coming up (29 now) I use to hear the stories of this shit and dodge so many women,from the point where they wanted to have my kid.Then I settle down with my daughters mother known her since high school 12yrs ago.She had my kid and flip out on me, like all the shit I done for you over the years!You can't possibly be serious with this shit.This shit is fuck up how they do us(men) like that. :angry:
 
Man these judges don't give a fuck they are slaying niggas here in NY ur best bet is to find some body that knows how to make pay stubs!!! if u make 50k a year put down 25-30k cause the judges don't care about ur bills and life style!

That shit won't work. They go by % of income and your employer is, by law, required to report what you're making and are required to send in that exact figure they are instructed to withhold. Believe me, if you report erroneous income figures, they will correct it! I know, I've been there. Don't fuck with the CSCU! They always check with your employer whether they garnish your pay or not!

judge kemp was the name of my judge dude was cool, older black dude maybe late 40's, was fair, didn't let her talk no shit, and gave me some leniency

it does depend on their mood, your life is in their hands, if their spouse cheated on them last night your going to pay for the aftermath today..

but you can have a good day in court.. trust me i did, but i do understand why cats dont want to go to court..

but at the end of the day think about what would happen if you wait too long and get hit with years and years of back child support.
 
First thing first GET A LAWYER!!!!!!!! Dont go down to the courthouse with a box of reciepts. Take a lawyer and a box of reciepts. Second ask for joint custody. It is your right to have equal custody of the kid. This not only lowers your financial responsibility but it gives you more than just a weekend or two a month with your child. If your job offers benefits for your child i.e. flex spending accounts for childcare, insurance, college savings take advantage of them. I only make 30k a year on paper---- G.I. Bill not included which is another 13k per year that does not go on my W2. My ex who I put through nursing school and makes more than me tried that same shit. The bitch fucked up when she agreed to joint custody. Therefore she was not entitled to any child support from me cause I had my kid 2 weeks out of the month and I pay daycare and med. ins. In my state both parents income are taken in to consideration in the child support scale. Since she makes way more than me she could have ended up paying me almost 300 per month because each parent has a certain percent of earnings that the child is owed. Since the child support issue was nearly a was she tried to hit me up on spousal support claims. But she makes more than me so that would not fly either. I did agree to give her 175 per month just so I would not have to pay my lawyer 3k to fight the spousal support claim. Since she asked for the 175 per month it will be very difficult for her to try to take me back to court in the future to ask for more $ because that is what she asked for. If she does say she is in need of more $$$ I have already been advised by my lawyer to ask the court for sole custody of the child because she is claiming that she is not financially able to provide for the child. I will use that to my advantage and say that if she needs more $$ then the child should be with me. But get a lawyer man. Dress nice in court. Act like an adult and leave the other childish bullshit at home ( chains, grills, tims) those things just set off the Ima fuck another young nigga today alarm. Good Luck.

Dude, do you live in the US of A? It's much more lucrative for women to have children and be single than to live under the same roof with a man who'd take care of them.
