Sup fam. I'm a big fan of professional wrestling in general, but have had an on and off interest in the current WWE product for a minute. And while Ring of Honor satisfied my workrate needs, I needed something that could bring me back to that sense of fun for the business. Then comes a promotion like Chikara. It's an American indies promotion that separates itself from the slew of other indies feds by combining elements of Japanese and Mexican style wrestling. The rules are different from American wrestling federation as well.
Any other fans in this forum? The link below really does a great job of breaking down what Chikara is all about. (WARNING: NOT FOR THE ILLITERATE).

Just got done watching their three day 6-man tag tournament from last year (King of Trios) and let me say...this was one of the most enjoyable wrestling tournaments I've seen (easily THE most enjoyable wrestling tournament I've seen in recent years).
What's really cool is, besides Chikara wrestlers, they flew in wrestlers from other federations from Japan, Mexico, England, other US indies companies, and a few surprises (i.e. WCW and WWE wrestlers).
Right now, if we're talking about American wrestling federations, Chikara is the one that feels the freshest to me.
