The current governor of Louisiana, is trying to block this
sister, Berbette Johnson, from being appointed to the
Supreme Court and for good reason. Johnson, if would be the
first black, female, to be appointed as Chief Justice, has
the racist opposition on alert...!

Did anyone go on to read the comments on NPR.org story? If you think the storyline wreaks of problems with color -- read the comments to the story for the real hate!

Its obvious that Louisiana is no different from any other republican state. Whites are seeking maintain their dominance. Control must be maintained by any means necessary regardless of how racist it appears. :smh:

Well the govenor is an Indian man who represents white supremacy. He basically assuages white guilt because he is a person of color.

Strangely some Indians think of themselves as being white or at least their equals.

Agreed, keep up the good fight, but do not use countermeasures as a means to blanket all non blacks, we have allies in every race. As a side note: as far as marching to express sentiment, okay good but as many people out there in the streets raising fists and shouting, take pen to paper and write in to voice their opinion, it's far more effective!
