man from Philadelphia this week allegedly caused at least $10,000 in damage to a restaurant in Trump Tower Chicago after he went on a crazed rampage where he overturned tables and smashed glasses.
The Chicago Tribune reports that 36-year-old Holdson Marcelin was arrested for trashing a restaurant located on the 16th floor of Trump Tower Chicago on Monday, in which he not only broke glasses, but also allegedly poured wine on the restaurant’s furnishings. While there is no specific estimate of the amount of damage he caused, police charged him with one felony count of criminal damage between $10,000 and $100,000.
The Chicagoist blog notes that Sixteen, the restaurant located on the 16th floor of the Chicago Trump Tower, “was in the news last month after Twitter had a good point-and-laugh at the restaurant’s ‘wound’-esque steak and suspect plating technique that was on display in a much-commented-upon tweet.”
No video of the incident has emerged at this time, despite the fact that police said surveillance cameras and customers’ phones captured the rampage.
