Looks like young Bassy cant leave the guns alone. I hope that he isnt out of the league soon because his rookie contract is about to end and he still hasnt proven he can play PG at this level.

YONKERS - Boston Celtics star Sebastian Telfair was arrested early today after police said a loaded handgun was found in his car when he was stopped for speeding on the Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers.
Telfair, 21, who gave police addresses in White Plains and his native Brooklyn, was stopped shortly before 4 a.m. on the northbound Bronx River Parkway when police said his 2006 Land Rover was clocked going 77 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone.
Police said Telfair, who was driving, produced a Florida driver's license that had been suspended. Westchester County Police Officer Adrian Camacho subsequently found a loaded .45-caliber handgun under the front passenger seat, Westchester County police spokesman Kieran O'Leary said.
Telfair and a passenger in the car, Al Eden Fuentes, 28, of Queens, were both charged with second-degree possession of a weapon, a felony. Telfair was also hit with a misdemeanor charge of second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and issued summonses accusing him of speeding and driving without a license, violations.
"He was very polite and cooperative with our officer,'' O'Leary said of Telfair, who along with Fuentes was being held by county police.
Both men are expected to be arraigned later today in Yonkers City Court.
Telfair, a cousin of New York Knicks point guard Stephon Marbury, was the 13th pick in the 2004 NBA draft and played for the Portland Trail Blazers until being traded to the Celtics last year.
In February 2006, while still with the Trail Blazers, he was questioned, but not charged, after a handgun registered to his girlfriend was found in his pillowcase aboard the team's plane at Boston's Logan International Airport. He was later suspended for two days and fined by the Trail Blazers.
In October 2006, Telfair reported that a $50,000 chain was snatched from his neck while he was outside of Justin's, a Manhattan restaurant owned by hip-hop mogul P.Diddy. That incident occurred shortly after rapper Fabolous was shot outside the same night club. Telfair was questioned about the shooting but said he was not there when it happened. He was unable to identify the men who stole his chain.
Reached shortly before noon, Celtics spokeswoman Erica Hunt said that at this time the team would have no comment about Telfair's latest brush with the law. The NBA also had no comment.
