My chance to mention the obvious. The CAROLINA PANTHERS are in bad need of a running game.How long the team..or more importantly...Cam Newton, be effective without one? Will DeAngelo Williams display the success he generated last season? So far this season, he's been MIA!

They need to plug holes in the offensive line for that to happen.
DeAngelo has not had a 100 yard game since November of 2009. He ended 2009 and 2010 on IR. We just gave him big money. He's 28 years old. Starting to wonder if he's still the same back as he was in his HUGE '08 season. The O line is sucking at run blocking right now (mainly due to Jeff Otah our RT being hurt ONCE AGAIN!). I think as the year progresses our run game will improve, but overall I dont think its gonna be the strength we thought it was. Right now Stewart looks like the guy who's gonna have to get the touches and pick it up. In the offseason I'd also like to see us beef up our O line. We have this GIANT of a QB who's a clear PLAYMAKER, but our O line isnt controlling the line of scrimmage as they should.
