I need to cop a new whip,

Should i go with a 2013 Cadillac Escalade or a 2012 Range Rover

Both have about 45k Miles...and both have lots of upgrades..

I want something nice, but i'm also keeping in mind upkeep...

Oh yeah, Prices are comparable as well...

Thanks!

Range rovers are seen as more prestigious than a escalade but the maintenance on that range will have you second guessing yourself, so make sure you cop a 100k mile extended warranty (certified dealer)
Resale value i'd go with the range rover (I'm no expert it's just my opinion) SO RANGE ROVER has my vote.

Escalade by far, especially if you don't want to be spending out the ass for parts.

I have owned 2 Range Rovers, make sure you get an extended warranty. Additionally, check the service records for the EAS (Electronic Air Suspenaion) and the suspension airbags. Good luck.

1999-2014 Cadillac Escalades are the biggest waste of money of all time.
You're paying for the name.
They're so fucking gaudy and cheap inside you should just copp a Tahoe.
I can't speak on the new model Escalades cause I don't care to see the inside.
Suuuuuuper cheap interiors.
Don't compare to the Range, X5, etc.
But I only hear nothing but bad things about Range's maintenance wise.

i thought about gettin a RR.....then a dude told me how much they charge just to do the brakes.
i was like fuck that.

Man stay away from the range. My business partner had all kind of issues with the one he had. Shit was draining his pockets like something serious.

Can't speak on the Escalade, but I had a Rover. 11,000 on the clock when I got it in '11. Biggest piece of shit I've ever owned. Stayed in the shop. Like that bad bitch in the club - looks good to you, but 'aint necessarily good for you.

You need 40k reserves just for range Rover maintance. Have fun.

These^^^^^

Every cat I know who owned one LOATHE having it and was relieved to be rid of it.

One of my friends told me it was like being house broke- big ol McMansion with lawn furniture in it because the mortgage and maintenance fees are kicking your ass.

*two cents *

I've had 3 escalades since they came out loved em all!!!

Come fall will be looking to make this the 4th

I don't give a fuck what noone says..I have had a range 2 caddy's..1 ext model and the SUV model...also have a s63 Benz..don't fuck with the range.. suspension will rape u..cheap ass hoses under the hood will rape you..weekend driver only.. unless you have 20000 to blow on maintenance..plus the years you mentioned..the Cadillac is a more beautiful truck...brah

I tell ya what i dnt own neither myself never have.. pockets aint deep enough. But n e way i would get the escalade... definitely with extended warranty... but if n when u get the extended warranty make sure u dnt get it in ur car payments.. tell them u want to pay tht separate.. which u will pay over 2 yrs

If you are going used, the Escalade will be better maintained than the Range unless it was a program/fleet car. The former Escalade owner most likely upgraded or renewed, the Range Rover owner dumped. Whatever you do make sure it's still smooth, quiet and tight, otherwise you should look into a non-luxury full size.

Lol@ Range Rover owner dumped...gonna have to keep that in mind next time someone asks my opinion on one.

Most dudes who bought Range Rovers bought them from bullshit lots that looked good. I am on my second rover and the only problems i had were minor ones. Maintenance is high tho but what do you expect its not for everyone. A warranty is a must for any high end car. My mother bought an Escalade and a shock went out out of no where. No problem hinted and it was $1000 so go figure. Thank god for warranties. That Rover gone get you more pussy than that Escalade I'll tell you that much! I drive both LOL
