Ingredients for the chops
● 2 chuletas can can
● 2 teaspoons of salt
Ingredients for the adobo
● 1 teaspoon garlic powder
● 1⁄2 teaspoon onion powder
● 1⁄2 teaspoon oregano powder
● 1⁄2 teaspoon of achiote powder or seasoning
● 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
Procedure:
1. To create the chicharones, make an inch-wide incisions on the skin of the chop until it reaches the meat.
2. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the skin of each chop.
3. Mix adobo ingredients and adobo both chops.
4. Leave it fertilized for a minimum of 2 hours.
5. Remove excess salt from the skin.
6. Place in a baking tray and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes.
7. Let it sit until it cools down then remove excess liquid.
8. Fry in oil on medium temperature, approximately 5 minutes per side.
Rice with chorizo and yellow beans
Ingredients:
● 1/2 lb chorizo chopped
● 1 oz chopped onion
● 1/2 ripe banana cut into squares
● 1oz finely chopped coriander
● 2 tsp cooked rice
Procedure:
1. In a pan at high temperature, suffer the chorizo for a minute.
2. Add onion and ripe banana. Suffer for two minutes.
3. Add rice, cook two minutes, add cilantro and done.
