The last post in that thread was in December, so I'm a bit confused as to why you waited until February to take issue with it, and single me out of all the other comments and jokes that were made, but since this is obviously eating at you I'd like to clarify my comments:

I never said *I* would give your information out. I specifically said it was not my place to do so. I did, in fact, get a couple of PM's asking what questions they should ask you, and I told them they would need to figure it out on their own. (They never did.) I understand how that could be read as my intent tho, so I apologize, as that is not what I meant and it is not something I would do. I was not the only mod in that thread, so I would think that if my comments were over the line or "an abuse of mod powers" that they would have let me know or have asked HNIC to let me know. As of yet that has not happened.

All the other nonsense aside, this is not the first board that I have helped to mod/admin. While BGOL is the wild, wild west compared to other boards out there, I take issues of privacy seriously. I've been in a situation where mods/admin had a vendetta against certain members and acted on it. Even though the members they targeted were troublemakers and an overall pain in the ass, it's my view that when you are giving your personal information, and in this case money, to a community that there should be a certain expectation that the people who have access are mature and stable enough not to use it for their personal agenda. Regardless of how obnoxious a member is, if for nothing else but out of respect for HNIC and not wishing to cause him a headache, it is not something I would do. Period.
