Adam Schefter just tweeted this. Only good thing is that all $22 Million is guaranteed:smh:

Last year at this time, he would be getting $40 million guaranteed out of a $70 million dollar deal. Oh well...I agree that money needs to go to the Vets anyway

22 m's is a lotta chips fam

I know that, but for a first pick in the draft, its a huge downgrade in pay compared to the past...its a big adjustment for the league

Great, let all college players prove they are worth the big bucks if they can get a second contract. I am glad that this new deal is in place no more rookies holding out and missing valuable training camp time.

Well, giving away $35M to Vince Young probably shook everyone up. That ridiculous shit had to stop,

good

the shit getting out of hand and that money should go to the proven vets

I agree, compared to the Sam Bradford guaranteed money of last season that has to be the biggest cut in a long time. Bradford got like what, 40 or 50 something million to Newton's 22 million. They absolutely killed the rookie wages in this cba. But it's not like I didn't expect it, I mean the nba done this years ago.
